British Gas are the UK's number one gas provider in terms of the number of customers they supply. British Gas have a number of great consumer offers available. British Gas has announced that it has cut its standard gas & electricity prices by an average 6%^.

British Gas Boilers

British Gas also offer fantastic deals on home installations on products such as boilers and loft installation - which can help you to cut your overall heating bill. They estimate that a poorly insulated house could be costing you as much as 60% of your heating bill. British Gas offer subsidised prices from expert Gas Safe Registered installers who can complete your work on time and at a fantastic price. They also offer deals on boilers that can save you up to £700, British Gas are clearly more than just a great value energy provider - they offer a complete home heating solution.

NB: Installers must be on the Gas Safe Register to carry out gas work in Great Britain and the Isle of Man. The Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI registration on 1 April 2009.

Also for those of you out their that are eco-friendly, British Gas are providing a fantastic incentive to run your account online (paper free) rather than the traditional method of receiving your bills in the post. British Gas will contribute to funding new forestry for every 100 customers who sign up for paperless billing - a very nice gesture indeed!

Customer Review

Earlier this year I moved into my new home and was unsure about which energy provider to go with. I chose a British Gas competitor and what a mistake that was! From day one they got everything wrong and didn't even register my details correctly!! I swiftly moved over to British Gas and can only say I wish I had chosen them from the start. I cannot comment on their customer service as the switch went through with no problems and, having set up a direct debit, paying my bill is now very easy.

Easy to Switch : Very much so (wish I'd chosen them in the first place)
Customer Service : Haven't needed to use it
Value for Money : One of the cheapest providers around - I believe.
