Customer Review
I’d been with my existing Gas supplier for over 30 years but my son-in-law suggested I shop around as there were better deals available. He came around one Sunday morning with his laptop computer and showed me the different options available and I was amazed at how much I could save on my gas bill. I also didn’t realise you could get dual fuel and combine your bill with your electricity too. I decided to opt for the npower dual fuel as this saved me an additional eight quid by signing up on line via your website (my son-in-law did this as I’m completely computer illiterate)! The added bonus was npower’s commitment to ‘going green’ which my wife and I liked as it shows we’re doing our bit for the environment. I’ll be keeping a close eye on prices from now on as it's so easy to switch there’s no reason to pay over the odds especially when there’s much better energy offers available.
Easy to Switch : Very simple process (so I’m told)!
Customer Service : So far so good
Value for Money : Great
Advantages : One bill makes it far easier to manage payment.
Disadvantages : It's slightly annoying that prices keep changing meaning you need to keep checking who has the most deal
Recommend to potential buyers: Yes, certainly.
*Go Fix 8: Requires a residential contract with npower for electricity and/or gas on our Go-Fix 8 tariff entered between 26/09/11 and 03/01/2012, paying by monthly direct debit and managing your account online with paperless billing. Prices will be fixed until 03/02/13 providing you continue to meet the eligibility criteria and no charge or cost is imposed by or as a consequence of any action, order, decision or imposition by any governmental, statutory or licensing authority, and, when added to our charges at the time, this causes our prices to exceed the fixed price. Offer subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
*Discount to standard: discount of at least 6% based on a customer with a typical annual average electricity consumption of 3,300kWh and gas consumption of 16,500kWh. Includes the annual dual fuel direct debit discount and VAT at the reduced rate of 5%. Actual discount/premium to our standard tariff will vary according to fuels taken, applicability of discounts, and by region and consumption. npower's Direct Debit discounts are applied to accounts on or before the final day of the 12 month period starting when you became eligible, provided you pay continuously in this way. Correct as at 26/09/11.
